Well.. It is six in the morning and while I am listening to everyone hit the snooze on their alarms I am sitting here... not able to sleep. I have quietly cleaned the house, showered, and finished our laundry. Since I have everything done and a sleeping baby I figured this would be a good time to catch up. Tyler was blessed last Sunday. Garen was a little nervous about giving the blessing but he did a great job. When me and Tyler went to church on Sunday I had a lot of people come up to me and comment about all the family we were able to have come. I am so grateful for my big family and their willingness to come and support my new little family.
Tyler is 8 weeks old today and getting so big. He was having stomach problems so the doc put him on a new formula and had me get some different bottles and the combination really did the trick. He is such a happy baby, and is getting quite the personality. He has the cutest smile!
We have been busy getting ready for Christmas, and even though Tyler wont realize what is going on I kind of went a little crazy shopping for him... it was just too fun! It was fun shopping for Garen as well. In the three and a half years that we have been married I have never had any gift be a surprise.. (for those of you who know me well you know its because I just can't help but tell!! The excitement is just too much.. haha) I am pleased to announce that this year he is going to be surprised!! (That is if everything goes as planned and it gets here before Christmas.)
I have many pictures to post but Garen is one of those people who are hitting the snooze and because I am not technically savvy I will have to wait for a time that he can help me upload pictures.

Growing Fast!
I love his eyes!!!
this is his way of telling us NO MORE PICTURES!!
Loves being in Mommy's arms.
Man... time sure does fly. I can't believe that our baby is already over a month old... five weeks and 3 days to be exact. He now weighs 10 pounds, makes noises, and loves to look at lights. He used to scream every time we got him in the bath but he is liking it more everyday. Its amazing how life has changed so much. Its funny how my hair can be a mess, I can be covered in spit up and pee and still be in my pjs and be so happy. He has reflux so he has his cranky times but we feel so blessed that he is here and healthy that all those sleepless nights don't bother us a bit. We are loving our little Tyler!

Tyler is HERE!
Thursday October 21 was the Day!! I went to the doctor for my weekly appointment and he sent me right up to labor and delivery. They started the medication to induce labor, broke my water, and started monitoring me when they noticed that Tyler's heart rate was dropping when I was contracting. They tried to change my position, pump me back full of water, and stop the medication but nothing was working. The nurse and doctor came in to inform me that I needed a C-section so that they could get baby out fast. They brought Garen in scrubs and a mask and unplugged me from everything and we were off. About twenty minutes later Tyler was out. He weighed 6 lbs and 15 ounces and was PERFECT! Tyler had his cord wrapped around his arm and I was informed later that my placenta had started to die so it was a good thing that they got Tyler out when they did. Both me and Tyler are doing fine. He is eating good and I just love when he is awake and looking at me! Life couldn't be better.

Baby Update
I went to the doctor on Tuesday. I am now 3cm dilated and 80% effaced (sorry for those that think thats gross...) When the doc came in he glanced at my chart and said that he would induce me next week.... then he realized that this was my first baby and said that he couldn't... what a dirty trick! He did say that because we live farther away from the hospital he would induce me on my due date, which is October 25th. He was amazed at how I was progressing and asked me if I was sure that I didn't have any other kids because he doesn't see many first time moms progress that well. I technically can go anytime and I am really hoping I do because I hear that it is not fun to be induced. I can't believe that we will have a baby boy soon!! Garen and I have waited so long and had so much heart ache in the past trying to get pregnant. We both feel very blessed that our prayers were answered and that we get to be parents!! We already love this little boy!

ONE BIG DAY!
October 5 was Garrett's 1st birthday! Mandy had a big party set up for him the Sunday before so we all went down to celebrate. Garrett changes every time we see him. He is not only walking now but running! He is such a smart and happy little boy and is turning into quite the little man. Its amazing how fast they grow. Uncle Brandon and Jordan got him a skateboard (as well as a helmet and knee pads just to be safe.) Garen and I got him some clothes and a tent with a tube that is hooked into it so he can play. My parents got him a horse interactive video game and some clothes. He loved everything. He didn't want to wait to open presents, every time his mom was not looking he would run over there and see how far he could get before Mandy would tell him no. Mandy also made him his own birthday cake with mounds of green frosting...

Gettin' Crafty...
I like being busy and now that I have graduated from school I try to come up with projects to help me pass the time on my days off. Brittani has been a great crafting partner and last week we were able to get together to do some Halloween crafts.. Also, I am a huge fan of studio 5 and love getting ideas from them. Me and Garen have needed a headboard for a while but I wasn't able to find one that I liked. This lady had a cute Idea of using old bi fold doors as room dividers and I thought that it would also make a cute headboard so with Garen and my dad's help I was able to complete it! Everything turned out great! Thanks Brittani for doing these crafts with me, its always more fun when you have a good friend to chat with while painting! Also thanks Garen and Dad for helping me with all my crazy ideas!!!
Getting BIG!!
I just had my Thirty Four week appointment on Monday. My regular doctor got called in to do a delivery right before it was my turn so another doctor seen me instead. She measured my belly and I am measuring right on track at 34. She also listened to his heart. The heartbeat was good. She said that he has a strong heart. She was a little concerned about the swelling in my feet, but at this point there is not much that can be done other than elevating my feet more. I guess I will have to start relaxing a little more. Its getting harder to see my feet and move but I cant complain I love being pregnant and am so grateful for the opportunity I have to experience everything! He kicks like crazy and I love it!!! I have one more two week appointment at the end of September and then I will start going to my weekly appointments.
Family Party Fun
We had our big family party over labor day weekend. I was not able to sleep in a tent this time, but we had lots of fun anyways. My nephew Garrett had a blast. He loved being outside and getting dirty. My parents gave him an early birthday present which was a buzz lightyear push car, he pushed that thing around like crazy! He is getting so big and he has started to walk! One of his favorite activities was the water kickball. He would sink as far down in the bucket of water as he could! He is such a FISH! We also did secret family gifts, played games, watched movies, and colored. The best part of it all is just being able to relax and visit with family Thanks grandma!! I know its lots of hard work to put this together! I love my family!!!!

Catching Up...
Well it has been a long time. I am sitting here at USU waiting for Garen to get done with school. I had to come with him today so I could take some tests for my sociology class. I haven't quite figured out the point of taking an online class if the teacher still makes you come to campus to take the tests but oh well... the semester is almost over. Since I am not at my home computer I cannot put up any pictures but I promise pictures of baby brewer, graduation, and fun times are coming. A lot has gone on since the last time I posted. I participated in the graduation ceremony at Utah State. I have three weeks until I will be officially done but the end is in sight. My cute nephew Garrett came up for the 4th of July holiday. We spent the weekend watching movies outside on the projector, swim parties, a day at the Elwood Town celebration, and a baby blessing. It was such a fun weekend and Garrett said Grandpa. He is growing up so fast! He waves good bye and sometimes will even say bye. I wish they lived closer so that I could see them more. I had another doctors appointment. This one really just consisted of a whole bunch of tests. They made my drink this nasty orange drink and then checked to make sure that I didn't have gestational diabetes. They haven't called and said the test was positive so I must be okay. They measured me for the first time. (I had a lady doctor this time because my regular doctor was on vacation.) She poked my stomach and then put the measuring tape up. We also got to listen to the baby's heart beat. He must be a jokester already because she would put the machine on and listen to it and then he would move to the other side of my stomach so she would move to hear it and he would move again. The doctor said she was playing chase the baby. The heart beat was strong and good and that is always nice to hear. My next appointment is not until August. I have 15 weeks left time is flying by so fast! We have been keeping busy though. Our crib is purchased along with some other necessary baby items. They are still sitting in the box though until the baby's room gets painted. We have also decided on a name for our little one it will be.... Tyler Garen Brewer. Garen and I celebrated out 3 year anniversary on Monday. We went to my favorite place Formosa for lunch and then saw Grown ups. It was a good movie but it was nice just to spend time with Garen. Tomorrow is our 1 year temple anniversary! Man time flies. I am so lucky to be married to my best friend! I am even more excited that our little family is growing and we now get to experience parenthood.

ITS A BOY!
I had my 20 week appointment last week. I am half way there! I got another ultrasound. The tech went through all the organs and looked the baby over from head to toe. He told us that the baby was very healthy and everything looked good. We got to find out the sex of the baby. ITS A BOY and he was not shy about it either. Garen, my dad, Brandon, and Cameron all guessed right. However, my mom was actually wrong. We got a couple 3D pictures of our little boys face every time the man would click the picture button though he would turn his head so we got three side profile pictures... but he looks cute! I will post the pictures later when I have a scanner to do it. After our appointment we went shopping for some boy stuff. We got a lot of cute outfits and shoes. In the next couple weeks we will be painting and putting together baby Brewers room. We feel so blessed and grateful for all our blessings!
Its been a long time...
Life has been super busy lately and the blog has been the last thing on my mond lately. A lot has happened since my last post. Garen turned 28 on May 21. It was a good day. I took the weekend off of work and we spent the night in the Egyptian Pyramids room at the Anniversary Inn. It was a fun day. The celebration continued the later that day with cake and ice cream with the family then we went and saw Iron Man 2. I was surprised it was actually a good movie. The baby liked it as well... it was moving like crazy it felt like I had a million butterflies in my stomach! All in all Garen had a good birthday. He may not be too happy about being so close to 30 though!

15 Week Check-Up
I had my fifteen week appointment yesterday. The doctor came in and went over the tests they ran and said everything looked great then he let us listen to the heartbeat. He had a hard time finding it at first. Apparently I am caring the baby "high" or at least that's what he told me. I love hearing the heartbeat. I could listen to it all day. He said everything is right on track and told me he would see me in June and we would find out the sex of the baby! I think I was there for ten minutes is all.. it was a very quick appointment.

The debut of baby Brewer
I had my first doctors appointment on March 29th. It was my ten week appointment and we got to have an ultrasound of the baby done. The baby was moving like crazy during the ultrasound (maybe it was that couple sips of diet pepsi I had before ha ha) It was so fun to see the baby actually look like a baby. Garen gets updates on his ipod about the developmental stages of the baby. I just have to laugh and roll my eyes. The other morning he proceeded to tell me what was good to eat for breakfast. I told him I would eat whatever so long as he made it. The other day he was also arguing with me about how far along I was. Needless to say I was right and he was wrong. I will be 14 weeks tomorrow and into my second trimester and I am crossing my fingers in hopes that I don't throw up as much. We went on date night yesterday and saw the back up plan. It was pretty cute. They kept showing her eating all this food... I throw up at the very sight of food and she would eat hotdogs... I love hotdogs but you couldn't pay me to eat one now! My belly is growing a little. According to the development charts the baby is 4 inches and weighs 2 ounces. Garens update says it about the size of an orange... I told him that a pear might be a better comparison since our baby does have a head and a body and is not completely round. Even as I am typing this he is correcting me and saying the baby is the size of a lemon... ha ha I don't think there is really a size difference but whatever. I am excited that he is so excited for the baby. We are both so very happy!!

GUESS WHAT!?
Me and Garen decided to finally break the news (for the very few there are that still don't know) We are going to have a BABY. I am due October 25th! We couldn't be more happy! Garen and I had a hard time starting a family... and after two years of trying we are excited for our first little one to be on the way! It was funny how it all came to be. We were going to the Womens Center in Ogden.. After christmas I was feeling down about not being able to have a baby and me and Garen decided it was time to do something about it. I was told this center in Ogden was good at helping with infertility and all throughout December I couldn't get it out of my mind. I called an made an appointment and was told that going on this medicine would help. So I took the pills and had to come back for follicle checks. The first ultrasound showed only one follicle and she said that it was too small to be an egg, the only good news I got was that I had a great utersus. I couldn't help but laugh when she said that. The doctor had me come back a couple days later for another ultrasound and there was nothing there. I was heart broken and she told me that the odds of me getting pregnant that month were slim to none. I cried the whole way home and poor Garen was trying anything he could to make me feel better. He even went out and bought me a purse. The doctor increased the dose of my medcine and told me that we would try again next month. Well finally the monday after Valentines day I had a dream that I had 6 babies!! It was quite the dream. I decided that even though the doctor told me that I would not be pregnant that I would get a test and see anyways. I took one test and it came out POSITIVE I was so excited that me and Garen just jumped up and down and hugged forever. I still could not believe that I was actually going to have a baby so we went out an bought three more tests. They all came back positive but I still wanted more proof so I went to the hospital for a blood test. I was told that I was in fact pregnant!! The medicine ened up working the first time. My OB said that I was pregnant by the first ultrasound and thats why she saw what she did. I have been really sick but I can't complain. The joy that comes from being able to have a baby in indescribable and not being able to get pregnant for so long was so hard but we know that the Lord knows all and knows what is best. Garen will make such a great father. We have dodger clothes for the baby already (thanks aunt Nicole) and baseball shoes. Garen gets the boy stuff and I get bows. We will be happy with a boy or a girl. We find out June 7th what the sex is. Garen lost his job and our insurance the same day we found out we were having a baby so we will be moving in with my parents so that we can save money for the hospital bills and also because Garen will be going to Law school soon. My parents are excited that they will be able to see the baby everyday. I have ultrasound pictures of baby Brewer but I will have to get Garen to put them on the blog because I am not good at those things. Some of the pictures are blurry because the baby was moving like crazy! I can't wait to be a mom!!!

I am so bad at this blogging thing. I never post pictures and I never know quite what to say... Maybe I will just turn it over to Garen and see if he does any better! Big changes will be happening soon. We are moving in may and school is almost out! I have one online class to take this summer and I will be done. I don't think I will know what to do with myself when I am done... Garen and I are busy as usual. Garen is working hard in school and I feel like all I do lately is work and study for chemistry. I will be so happy when I am done with chemistry. Everyone in my class is doing bad, in fact the teacher is going to have to make adjustments to the grades so that enough people will pass the class so he wont get in trouble! I am going to have Garen help me post pictures so more is coming soon!!

Its been awile...
Wow... I havent updated the blog in a long time. A lot has happened! Garen got a new job. He will be working at information alliance. We are still busy with school, but we are making it! I just keep having to tell myself that all the studing and staying up late will be worth it when we graduate. I found out that the last class I need before I graduate will be offered this summer so I will be done with school soon! Garen is counting down the weeks until baseball starts. We are sad that we are not going to be able to make it to Arizona to watch the Dodgers in spring training. Both of us cant wait for spring. I have never had spring fever this bad before. The snow is finally melting and today I didn't even have to wear a coat and then the whether man tells me that it is going to snow more this week! Garrett and Amanda came to visit this weekend. He is getting so big, he is such a happy baby. Brittani and Kevin brought Kinley over to visit and Garrett and her played so cute together! Cameron also brought baby Brett over. He is so little but so cute. I know life is going to be hard for him but he is really owning up to his responsibilities I am really proud of him.

LIFE IS CRAZY!! Garen and I have been running like crazy. The classes we are taking this semester are very demanding. If we are not at work then we are doing homework. Hopefully all the hard work will pay off. Garen enjoyed the superbowl weekend. We went to my parents house and had a great dinner and lots of treats! Garen was especially glad that the Saints won!! More excitement happened this weekend. Cameron's girlfriend had her baby. He was 7 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches long. His name is Brett Micheal Bair after Camerson's fathers name. Cameron an Chelsey are happy, but they have a long hard road ahead. You all have probably heard about the burglaries at Utah State... The guy is targeting the apartments around campus that multiple people live in. There has been like some 25 burglaries in the past six weeks! I hope they can catch this guy soon and that everyone will be able to get their things back. I have a huge chemistry test on Friday that i am very nervous about! The class would be easier if I could understand my teacher! I know he is smart but I pay a lot to go to school each semester and I think I should at least be able to have a teacher that is understandable! Everyone cross your fingers that I can pass this test... I am going to need all the help I can get!

Please No More Snow!
Ok... So still no pictures, but I promise that putting some up, is on my things to do list. Well its Friday night and both me and Garen are working. We now have Sundays and Mondays off together so its nice to be able to spend to evening with him... Well I guess my car had to be next. This week has defiantly not been my families week with cars. On my way to work my car started acting funny so my Dad and Grandpa came to the rescue! (To both of you Thank you so Much! I really appreciate everything that you both do!) I am so lucky to have such great parents and Grandparents! (Thanks for letting me borrow the car mom!) I think the snow is just getting hard on it. I am ready for spring. So the plan is to go to Arizona in March. Both me and Garen are excited to go see his family. The warm weather there will be a nice change too! So for one of Garen's Political Science classes he has to start a blog. I will let you all know his blog address when he starts it for any of you that like politics.

What A Week
Wow.. I am glad that it is almost the end of the week. Lots of stuff has been happening! First of all, we went to the circle of life women's clinic on Monday. We got good news and we are hopeful that we will be able to start a family soon. On the bad side... I cannot understand my chemistry teacher! He is from Russia (I think) and has a very heavy accent. I am not a big fan of chemistry anyways so not being able to understand my teacher doesn't help things. Garen has been busy with school. He is doing well though. We are both excited about being close to graduating. We got a call last night at 11:00... it was Brandon... He needed to be rescuded from Ogden. His new cool car broke down on him. Driving through the canyon in the snow was not fun, but we made it safe and he is working of fixing his car now. I promise I will post pictures soon... I need to find my camera and have Garen show me how to do it. I am not good at things like that I cant even put music on my ipod.. I have him do it for me. We hope everyone is doing good and staying safe in the snow!!

2010
I can't belive that its already the 7th of January. We have been thinking about resolutions for the last couple of days and the things that we want to improve on this year. They say that if you write them down you have a better chance of actually accomplishing them and what better way than to have everyone see our resolutions. We decided that this year we are going to set more spriritual resolutions. We are going to do better about reading our scriptures TOGETHER and saying our famiy prayers every night. We also made it a goal to go to the temple once a month, something that has been very hard with both of our schedules. Garen is really good about keeping goals so hopefully he can keep me on track. And we both have carried on our past resolution of getting in shape! We have also been thinking about 2009 and everything that happened last year. It was such a great year. Being able to go through the temple and be sealed for time and all eternity was such a great blessing. It is so wonderful that the gospel gives us a way to be wih our families forever.

New to blogging...
Hmm... Well I don't know how interesting mine and Garen's life is or who would want to read about it, but it will be fun for us to do anyways. This week Garen has been taking a math refresher course. Five hours a night of studying math... No Fun! Hopefully he will be able to clep out of a few classes though. He studies so hard. I am glad he knows what he wants to do and works so hard to achieve it. He will make a good lawyer. As for me two more chemistry classes and I will have my Bachelor of science in history with my minor in sociology and family and human development. It seems like I have been in school forever it will be weird to be done, well half way done. I have decided I am going to get my masters degree after. USU has a program that you can get your master degree and teaching license together. I don't know how I feel about teaching high school kids, but at least it will give me another thing that I can do.
